Coastal
Aluminum Rolling Mills, Inc. manufactures aluminum coil material to meet
our customer's alloy and gauge specifications. Our finished product varies
from light gauge honeycomb aluminum used by the aerospace industry to
aluminum for building products and window treatments.
We have
also manufactured award-winning automotive trim and other specialty
products.
We meet the stringent
product specifications required by the government for the aerospace,
automotive, and other industries by continuously and consistently
monitoring the quality of our aluminum product. We use several quality
assurance measures throughout our production process:
- All Coastal products are
manufactured utilizing SPC controlled rolling mills
- Our standards in gauge,
shape, flatness, and appearance consistently exceed industry standards
- RMS and appearance are
continuously monitored
- Regular laboratory tests
are conducted to monitor tensile strength, yield strength, and chemical
composition which ensure metallurgical certification
- X-ray monitoring and
control equipment ensure superior gauge consistency
- Our finish inspections
include tests for scratches, dents, and metal alignment
